Program Outline - Musical Theatre Track

Program Hours: Sundays 3:00-6:00pm and Thursdays 7:00-9:30pm
Program Dates: August 1st - January 23rd (Class will break over the holiday season November 14 - January 22nd, though private coaching may still be arranged during these times.)
● Two 30-minute strategy sessions with your advisor *for parents and students* - One done prior to first class on August 1st and the 2nd to take place during November/December gap
● Movement & Given Circumstances (Physical & Intellectual techniques/approach)
● Personalized material selection and guidance (monologues and songs)
● Shakespeare Bootcamp
● 6 weeks of group acting audition prep
● 5 weeks of group Musical Theatre audition prep (all of August)
● 1 Dance pre-screen filming weekend (September 10-12)
● 2 Song/Monologue pre-screen filming weekends (Sept 24-26 & October 9-11)
● Professional Headshots
● Assistance in resume preparation
● Choreographer on staff for dance audition assistance
● Accompanist on staff for tracks and music assistance
● Points System – MT students get 70 coaching points to use on one-on-one assistance tailored to their needs. (10 hours of one-on-one coaching time)
